History of the CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park
This sizeable outdoor destination in South Carolina has been a foundation of the local entertainment scene since its opening in 2005. With a seating capacity of 15,000, the outdoor music hub has attracted diverse national headliners across various music genres, including Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, The Doobie Brothers, and Counting Crows. It hosts community-centric events such as the annual 10-day Fair each May, Movies in the Park, and Celebrate Simpsonville on July Fourth.
In 2019, Coastal Carolina National Bank (CCNB) entered a three-year naming rights agreement with the City of Simpsonville, leading to its current name. This partnership has facilitated ongoing enhancements to the facility, ensuring its continued appeal for performers and attendees. Notably, the reserved seating capacity was increased from 2,500 to nearly 4,800 individuals, reflecting its commitment to accommodating larger audiences and improving the customer experience.
These upgrades and the CCNB’s picturesque setting within Heritage Park have solidified its reputation as a premier spot for live entertainment in the region.
